Noise-control retrofit measures for walls or ceilings (drywall construction)

For sound-proofing partition walls between apartments or terraced houses we recommend the construction of a curtain wall using soni PROTECT R, a high-quality recycling product made from soft melamine foam.  For such a curtain wall, a framework of 30 to 50 mm thick wooden slats is fixed to the wall, preferably on elastic spacers,  e.g. soni NBR tape, to ensure acoustic decoupling.
