Acoustic panel for sound insulation
soni PUR-VS60 is a top-quality recycling product made from flexible varicolored PUR composite foam. Installed as absorber in the hollow space behind a facing panel, soni PUR-VS60 considerably reduces the resonance phenomenon, thus increasing the sound insulation effect.
For a curtain wall, a framework of 30 to 50 mm thick wooden slats is fixed to the wall, preferably on elastic spacers, e.g. soni NBR adhesive tape, to ensure acoustic decoupling. Then soni PUR-VS60 sound insulation panels are mounted in the spaces between the slats. As a last step, plaster wallboards or particle boards are fixed on the slat framework with screws. The sound absorption can be increased by fixing the acoustic material soni PUR-VS60 not directly on the wall, but on the wooden slats before mounting the wallboards. For optimum overall effectiveness, the wallboards should be decoupled from the side walls, the ceiling and the floor by filling the gaps with acrylic putty.
