Sound-conditioning measures in medical offices / clinics
In doctor’s offices, effective sound proofing is especially important – and not only because of the need to ensure confidentiality. The smooth surfaces that are typically used in medical offices for the sake of hygiene intensify the propagation and reverberation of sound and the noise from various sources adds up: ringing phones, patients entering and leaving, medical appliances, conversations, office equipment and much more. At the same time, reception halls, waiting areas and offices need to be optimally sound conditioned to ensure that confidential conversations stay confidential. What is more, effective noise control and pleasant room acoustics are a key factor for the comfort of personnel and patients.
soniflex sound absorbers are the noise control solution of choice for areas with constant customer traffic and high confidentiality requirements.
Covering (part of) the walls and ceiling with sound-absorbing acoustic panels will minimize the noise level and help optimize the acoustic conditions in the room. In general, only part of the walls/ceiling (corresponding to ca. 30 to 50% of floor surface) needs to be covered, depending on room height and initial noise level. This measure substantially reduces the reverberation time and hence the sound level, resulting in much better speech intelligibility and a more comfortable atmosphere.
