Our pyramid-profiled foam soni PYRAMIDE is a highly efficient noise-control product made from open-cell melamine foam (Basotect®). soni PYRAMIDE scores with exceptional sound-absorption properties and a visually very attractive surface design. soni PYRAMIDE meets the fire safety standards DIN EN ISO 13501 and DIN 4102 (flame-retardant) as required for the construction industry. Attach battens: Attach 30 mm or 50 mm thick wooden battens to the wall. Use our soni NBR sealing tape to insert an elastic layer between the wall and the battens. This prevents sound bridges. 2. Insert sound insulation boards: Fill the gaps with soni 491 STL to achieve both sound insulation and sound absorption. 3. Attach cladding: Screw plasterboard or chipboard onto the battens. 4. Decoupling & joint sealing: Separate the construction from the floor, ceiling and adjacent walls with a small gap and seal the joints with acrylate for maximum insulation performance. Our soni DECOR acoustic foam consists of polyurethane- foam laminated with a sound-absorbing non-woven surface layer. The black polyester non-woven is extremely robust as well as oil- and fuel-repellent. Due to the resistant non-woven surface, soni DECOR is widely used in technical applications.
