Ordering acoustic panels from soniflex

Our soni RESIST noise protection panel consists of closed-cell polyethylene foam with both sound-insulating and sound-absorbing properties. Its closed-cell structure makes soni RESIST especially suitable for applications where it may come into contact with moisture or humidity. The extremely robust and impact-resistant sound-insulation material does not constitute a medium for microorganism growth and can be wet-cleaned if necessary.

soni RESIST is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102, as proven under B1 test conditions. Therefore the product is an excellent noise-control solution wherever you need to reduce the sound level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations.

The use of soni RESIST

The optional self-adhesive rear face facilitates the installation of the panels. When mounted overhead or on uneven surfaces, (additional) mechanical fixation is required.

Our soni MOUNTING PINS offer an easy and fast method for the installation of acoustic materials on smooth and clean surfaces.  soni MOUNTING PINS have a base plate with self-adhesive back. The high-quality adhesive ensures secure installation of our acoustic materials for the long term. Use the enclosed fixation disk to hold the noise protection material in place. And, as a last step, cover the tip of the steel pin with the protective cap. The kit consists of 20 base plates with pin, plus fixation disks and protective caps.Kit 1 (pin length: 42 mm) is suitable for noise-control panels of 25 – 30 mm thicknessKit 2 (pin length: 63 mm) is suitable for noise-control panels of 50 mm thickness

For the mechanical fixation of soundproofing material. Set 1 (for 25 to 32 mm thick material) consists of 20 nylon anchors 8x40, 20 screws 6x70/42 and 20 fixation disks. Set 2 (for 50 to 52 mm thick material) consists of 20 nylon anchors 8x40, 20 screws 6x90/56 and 20 fixation disks.

Thanks to its strong adhesive strength and simple application, it enables reliable fastening to various surfaces. Application of WIKO spray adhesive Preparation Make sure that the surfaces to be covered are clean, dry and free of dust and grease. Applying the adhesive Shake the spray can well. Spray a thin film of WIKO spray adhesive evenly onto both surfaces: both the sound insulation panel and the surface to be bonded, as it is a contact adhesive. Flash-off time Allow the adhesive to flash off for 3-5 minutes. The adhesive should feel tacky but no longer be wet. Bonding Press the two surfaces firmly together. Ensure that they are correctly aligned, as the contact adhesive will adhere immediately. Apply even pressure to ensure good adhesion. If necessary, you can use a roller or similar tool. Note: One spray can is sufficient for approx. 8-10 m².
