Thanks to our unique, protected self-adhesive solution, you can remove soni PORTA again from smooth surfaces without leaving any residue, if necessary, for instance when moving out.Elegantly shaped cutouts for the door handle, on the left or right as needed, complete the sophisticated design.Depending on the application, the material has to be mounted either on the inside or on the outside of the door. For this reason, soni PORTA has been designed in two standard heights. Please measure the width and height of your door leaf on the outside, i.e. on the side in the direction in which your door opens.Please note: If the gap between the door leaf and the floor is too wide, we recommend mounting a door sweep or a door bottom seal. Only when all gaps and openings around the door are closed, perfect soundproofing is possible. soni PORTA is also available in a version that is not removable without residue: soni PORTA Basic Important information on installing soni PORTA door insulation: Correct installation is crucial for soni PORTA to be fully effective: 1. unhinge the door before installation and place it in a horizontal position on a stable surface. 2. apply the individual insulation elements horizontally to ensure optimum adhesion of the adhesive. Do not apply when hanging! The weight of the integrated heavy film could cause the adhesive to come loose again (does not apply to soni PORTA Basic). 3. leave the door to rest for at least 24 hours after installation and only hang it up again the next day. This will ensure that the door insulation remains in place permanently and that optimum sound reduction is achieved!

soni TRAPEZ is a trapezoidal sound-insulation element made of open-cell melamine foam (Basotect®) with exceptional sound-absorption properties. Mounted on the ceiling, soni TRAPEZ elements effectively absorb noise and reduce the reverberation level in interior spaces. soni TRAPEZ meets the fire safety standards relevant for the construction industry and has successfully passed the B1 test according to DIN 4102. Hence you can use soni TRAPEZ as a functional and decorative ceiling element wherever you need to reduce the noise level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations. The trapeze-shaped acoustic baffels are highly resistant to aging, free of mineral fibers and physiologically safe. Especially on ceilings where crane rails, air ducts or lamps make it difficult to install sound-insulation panels across a large area, soni TRAPEZ is suitable thanks to its compact shape and can be easily adapted to any special structural conditions. For direct ceiling fixation of the absorber elements we recommend our soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE. soni COMFORT is a very hard-wearing sound absorber made of a white PES non-woven fabric with exceptionally good sound-absorption capacity. In addition, soni COMFORT offers excellent fire-resistance values. soni COMFORT has been tested successfully according to the DIN 4102 fire safety standard and is classified as fire-retardant (B1). Therefore it is the material of choice for all applications requiring both an effective noise reduction and full compliance with fire safety regulations. When used as a ceiling element, soni COMFORT also fulfills the impact-resistance requirements according to DIN 18032-3 and is ideally suited for use in sports facilities and gymnasiums. What is more, soni COMFORT is aging-resistant, free of mineral fibers and physiologically perfectly safe. All this makes soni COMFORT a true all-rounder for effective sound-conditioning measures in a wide variety of room types. For covering entire wall or ceiling surfaces we recommend using soni COMFORT F. While soni COMFORT has plain edges, soni COMFORT F has beveled edges all around (10 x 10 mm), creating a beautiful visual effect when installed edge to edge. Additional advantage: The resulting pattern helps conceal any uneven patches on the ceiling or wall. If necessary, soni COMFORT and soni COMFORT F can be cut to the desired size and shape with a carpet knife or a keyhole saw with a blade suited to cutting soft materials. With soni PROTECT acoustic panels fixed to ceilings and walls, your room will be much less reverberant.  soni PROTECT has been tested successfully according to European as well as German fire safety standards and can therefore be used wherever you need to reduce the noise level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations. What is more, soni PROTECT is aging-resistant, free of mineral fibers and physiologically perfectly safe. All in all, an absolute classic for optimizing acoustics conditions in buildings. For edge-to-edge installation we recommend using soni PROTECT F. It consists of the same material as soni PROTECT, but has beveled edges all around, which make for very neat joints and an attractive surface design while actually helping conceal any uneven patches in the ceiling or wall surface. Please note: We do not recommend soni PROTECT for use on wall areas that are liable to be hit or touched, as the sound insulation panels are sensitive to mechanical stress. soni PROTECT and soni PROTECT F can easily be cut to the desired size with a carpet knife.
