Easy assembly – modular use

soni RESIST Box are sheets for a customizable noise-control box that assembles in just a few minutes.

The interlocking acoustic elements are made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam. They are available in two different sizes and can be joined quickly and easily. The excellent sound-insulating and sound-absorbing properties of the material make the soni RESIST Box perfect for use as a versatile compressor enclosure.

Please note: What we offer here is not a complete box, but individual noise-protection elements with which you can assemble a sound-insulation box. Please order the required number of elements (at least 5).

Uses for the soni RESIST box UV

For pool pumps and heat pumps that are exposed to the weather, the special version soni RESIST Box UV is a practical and effective noise-control solution thanks to the UV stability of its acoustic elements.

Please note: For permanent outdoor use, wind loads and severe weather conditions must be taken into account. Additional securing, e.g. with a wooden box, might be necessary.

soni RESIST Box UV

The soni RESIST Box UV panels look somewhat like giant puzzle pieces and are fit together in exactly the same way. The individual panels can be put together quickly so that you can assemble your sound insulation box as required by your application. Thanks to their sound-insulating and both sound-absorbing effect, they are perfect as enclosures for various outdoor appliances, especially as they are resistant to moisture, heat or cold.

Note: Please ensure that the cut edges of the box are protected from direct weathering, especially heavy rain, when used outdoors, otherwise the material may become saturated with water.

The panels for the RESIST Box are available in two colors: grey and black. The panels are suitable for indoor as well as outdoor areas exposed to sunlight. The acoustically highly effective elements are made of closed-cell PE foam and are ideal for use as insulating enclosure of noisy equipment such as compressors or pool pumps. As the sound-absorbing panels are made from a UV-resistant material, they do not degrade when exposed to UV light.

Effective noise protection in outdoor areas: Order UV-stable acoustic panels from soniflex Noise can become a problem not only indoors, but may also cause considerable discomfort in outdoor areas. Whether noise from traffic, construction sites or lively neighbors – soundproofing solutions for outdoor use are an essential tool for creating a quiet environment and improving your quality of life. Noise barrier walls and noise protection fences made of soni RESIST UV are an effective and durable solution for this purpose. soni RESIST UV is a hard-wearing and acoustically effective closed-cell PE foam treated with special UV stabilization for outdoor applications. The soni RESIST UV sound insulation board is available in black and grey and offers excellent weather and UV resistance. Hence this product can be exposed to sunlight without concern and is ideal for use as a noise barrier to neighboring properties. The advantages of soni RESIST UV: - Extremely low water absorption - High stability and structural strength - Stain-resistant and easy to clean - Good weather and UV resistance - No medium for micro-organism growth - Tested according to DIN EN 13501 (grey) Installation instructions: To ensure effective sound absorption, the material must be installed facing the sound source. The surface should remain uncovered so that sound strikes the absorber directly and can be absorbed there. The joints between the panels must be covered with a trim (e.g. a fence slat or aluminium sheet) to prevent gaps from forming. After installation, the entire surface can be covered with vegetation (e.g. ivy) or covered with fence netting. The covering should be air- and sound-permeable so that sound absorption is not affected. For RESIST UV panels, please also note the following: In the event of prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, the panels must be installed vertically only.
