soni PROTECT has been tested successfully according to European as well as German fire safety standards and can therefore be used wherever you need to reduce the noise level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations.
What is more, soni PROTECT is aging-resistant, free of mineral fibers and physiologically perfectly safe. All in all, an absolute classic for optimizing acoustics conditions in buildings.
For edge-to-edge installation we recommend using soni PROTECT F. soni COMFORT is a very hard-wearing sound absorber made of a white PES non-woven fabric with exceptionally good sound-absorption capacity. In addition, soni COMFORT offers excellent fire-resistance values.
soni COMFORT has been tested successfully according to the DIN 4102 fire safety standard and is classified as fire-retardant (B1). Therefore it is the material of choice for all applications requiring both an effective noise reduction and full compliance with fire safety regulations. When used as a ceiling element, soni COMFORT also fulfills the impact-resistance requirements according to DIN 18032-3 and is ideally suited for use in sports facilities and gymnasiums.
What is more, soni COMFORT is aging-resistant, free of mineral fibers and physiologically perfectly safe. All this makes soni COMFORT a true all-rounder for effective sound-conditioning measures in a wide variety of room types.
For covering entire wall or ceiling surfaces we recommend using soni COMFORT F. While soni COMFORT has plain edges, soni COMFORT F has beveled edges all around (10 x 10 mm), creating a beautiful visual effect when installed edge to edge. Thanks to our unique, protected self-adhesive solution, you can remove soni PORTA again from smooth surfaces without leaving any residue, if necessary, for instance when moving out.Elegantly shaped cutouts for the door handle, on the left or right as needed, complete the sophisticated design.Depending on the application, the material has to be mounted either on the inside or on the outside of the door. Correct installation is crucial for soni PORTA to be fully effective:
1. unhinge the door before installation and place it in a horizontal position on a stable surface.
2. apply the individual insulation elements horizontally to ensure optimum adhesion of the adhesive.
Do not apply when hanging! The weight of the integrated heavy film could cause the adhesive to come loose again (does not apply to soni PORTA Basic).
3. leave the door to rest for at least 24 hours after installation and only hang it up again the next day.
This will ensure that the door insulation remains in place permanently and that optimum sound reduction is achieved!

Our soni ELEMENT Clouds are beautifully designed acoustic elements for sound absorption and optimization of the acoustic conditions is rooms. They consist of a white polyester non-woven, optionally laminated with a decorative felt material in modern trend colors. Designed for wall mounting, the noise absorbers are available in different sizes and a wide variety of shapes – for custom-tailored room decoration in line with your individual design concept and ideas.

soni ELEMENT Cloud meets the fire standards for the construction sector in accordance with DIN EN ISO 13501 and DIN 4102 (flame-retardant). This means you can use soni ELEMENT Cloud on your walls without reservation wherever you wish to reduce noise levels and need to meet fire protection regulations at the same time.
To attach soni ELEMENT Cloud to smooth and clean surfaces, we recommend our soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE. If you do not wish to use glue on the entire surface, we suggest using our soni VELCRO TAPE as an alternative fixation method. Please note: The soni VELCRO TAPE is only suitable for wall mounting, not for ceiling mounting.

Installation
On request, nearly all our products can be delivered with self-adhesive rear faces, enabling easy, clean and time-saving installation – perfect for retrofit applications in rooms that are already in use.
Noise control
Thanks to their open-cell structure, our noise protection materials absorb sound waves and effectively attenuate bothering noise. A satisfactory result can already be achieved by lining 30 to 50 % of the ceiling and wall surfaces.
Fire protection
Many of our noise-control products are classified as flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 or DIN EN 13501. Please contact your local authorities in advance for information about the required fire protection class.
