Description
soni HEXAGON is a hexagonal acoustic element for sound absorption and optimizing the acoustic conditions in buildings. It consists of a white polyester non-woven, laminated with a decorative felt layer in modern trend colors. Designed for wall mounting, the geometric noise-absorber shapes are available in two different thicknesses – for customized interior design in line with your concept and ideas.
For a significant improvement of the room's acoustics, we recommend lining 30 to 50% of the ceiling/wall surface with sound absorbers, preferably evenly distributed across the room for the best result. By minimizing sound reverberation, soni HEXAGON lowers the overall noise level and improves speech intelligibility, making your office, call center, entrance area or conference room a much more pleasant place to stay.
soni HEXAGON fulfills the fire safety standards set down in DIN EN ISO 13501 and DIN 4102 (flame-retardant) for the building sector. This means you can use soni HEXAGON absorbers as an attractive and functional wall decoration wherever you need to lower the noise level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations.
For fastening soni HEXAGON absorbers on smooth and clean surfaces, we recommend our soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE. If you do not wish to use glue on a large surface area, we suggest using our soni VELCRO TAPE as an alternative fixation method.

Cut the Velcro strip to the desired length and press the Velcro sidefirmly onto the non-wovenmaterial of the acoustic product. Then peel off theprotective filmand glue the element to the wall at the desired position. This fixingmethod allows you to remove or replace the acoustic element at any time if necessary.
Recommended length of the Velcro tape: For a secure hold, cut the Velcro tape to approximately the width of the acoustic element.

Our soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE is an ideal adhesive for spot and full-surface fixation of sound-insulation materials and acoustic elements made of open-cell foam, especially melamine and PUR foams.
The solvent-free, stable soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE provides excellent adherence to typical building materials, such as concrete, plaster, masonry, cement and wood. With the elastoplastic, single-component polymer adhesive, our open-cell foam panels can be glued directly to the wall or ceiling. Our soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE is available in 310-ml-cartridges, in sets of 6 or 12 cartridges.
Please note: soni SPECIAL ADHESIVE is not suitable for PE foams such as soni RESIST. Keep out of reach of children!

Application of WIKO spray adhesive
Preparation
Make sure that the surfaces to be covered are clean, dry and free of dust and grease.
Applying the adhesive
Shake the spray can well.
Spray a thin film of WIKO spray adhesive evenly onto both surfaces: both the sound insulation panel and the surface to be bonded, as it is a contact adhesive.
Flash-off time
Allow the adhesive to flash off for 3-5 minutes. The adhesive should feel tacky but no longer be wet.
Bonding
Press the two surfaces firmly together. Ensure that they are correctly aligned, as the contact adhesive will adhere immediately. Apply even pressure to ensure good adhesion. If necessary, you can use a roller or similar tool.
Note: One spray can is sufficient for approx. 8-10 m².

Our soni WAVE egg crate acoustic foam is a highly effective noise-control product made from PUR-foam with a structured “egg-crate” surface. The sealed but air-permeable surface (patented process) absorbs sound waves effectively and is also reliably oil-, water- and fuel-repellent.
Uses of soni WAVE
The visually attractive wave structure of the surface ensures excellent absorption values in all frequency bands. With its robust structure and excellent noise-absorption capability, soni WAVE is a unique kind of napped acoustic foam that is especially suited to technical applications, for instance in noise-control enclosures for machines.
