Our acoustic foam made from polyurethane (DIN abbreviation: PUR) is a dark gray, open-cell foam material with excellent sound-absorption capabilities.
Our PUR foams score with their softness and elasticity while offering high shape stability. In combination with low weight and excellent acoustic effectiveness, these properties turn our materials into universally usable high-quality sound absorbers for a wide range of applications.

In addition, they are physiologically safe, score with high thermal resistance and are easy to cut with a carpet knife. Fixation per special soniflex adhesive or screws guarantees ease of installation.

soni 491 is a PUR acoustic foam coated with a micro-perforated film. The sound-permeable film prevents the penetration of dirt and liquids and can be wiped clean. Our soni 491 acoustic foam has proven its effectiveness in many years of practical use, successfully minimizing noise levels and providing thermal insulation in engine compartments and vehicle interiors. It meets the fire safety standards for the automotive industry as set down in FMVSS 302 and DIN 75200. Installation

On request, nearly all our products can be delivered with self-adhesive rear faces, enabling easy, clean and time-saving installation – perfect for retrofit applications in rooms that are already in use.

Noise control

Thanks to their open-cell structure, our noise protection materials absorb sound waves and effectively attenuate bothering noise. A satisfactory result can already be achieved by lining 30 to 50 % of the ceiling and wall surfaces.

Fire protection

Many of our noise-control products are classified as flame-retardant according to DIN 4102 or DIN EN 13501. Please contact your local authorities in advance for information about the required fire protection class.
