Easy assembly – modular use

soni RESIST Box are sheets for a customizable noise-control box that assembles in just a few minutes.

The interlocking acoustic elements are made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam. They are available in two different sizes and can be joined quickly and easily. The excellent sound-insulating and sound-absorbing properties of the material make the soni RESIST Box perfect for use as a versatile compressor enclosure.

Please note: What we offer here is not a complete box, but individual noise-protection elements with which you can assemble a sound-insulation box. Please order the required number of elements (at least 5).

For pool pumps and heat pumps that are exposed to the weather, the special version soni RESIST Box UV is a practical and effective noise-control solution thanks to the UV stability of its black acoustic elements.

soni RESIST Box

The soni RESIST Box UV panels look somewhat like giant puzzle pieces and are fit together in exactly the same way. The individual panels can be put together quickly so that you can assemble your sound insulation box as required by your application. Thanks to their sound-insulating and both sound-absorbing effect, they are perfect as enclosures for various outdoor appliances, especially as they are resistant to moisture, heat or cold.

The panels for the RESIST Box are available in two colors: white and black. The white elements are suitable for interior spaces or areas that are not hit by sunlight, while for outdoor use we recommend the black and hence UV-resistant version. The acoustically highly effective elements are made of closed-cell PE foam and are ideal for use as insulating enclosure of noisy equipment such as compressors or pool pumps. In the UV-resistant black version, the panels are very stable also when subject to UV light and will not disintegrate.

Noise barrier walls and noise protection fences made of soni RESIST UV are an effective and durable solution for this purpose. soni RESIST UV is a hard-wearing and acoustically effective closed-cell PE foam treated with special UV stabilization for outdoor applications. The soni RESIST UV soundproofing panel is available in black and has excellent weather and UV resistance. Hence this product can be exposed to sunlight without concern and is ideal for use as a noise barrier to neighboring properties. The advantages of soni RESIST UV: - Extremely low water absorption - High stability and structural strength - Stain-resistant and easy to clean - Good weather and UV resistance - No medium for micro-organism growth - Tested according to DIN 4102, B2 Instructions/recommended implementation: For effective sound absorption, the material should be applied on the side of the sound source and not be covered with dense material so that the sound waves can enter the acoustic panel and be absorbed. We recommend covering the joints between the panels with suitable material (e.g. fence slats, aluminum strips) to prevent gaps. After installation, the surface can be planted with greenery (e.g. ivy) or covered with fence fabric. Ordering acoustic panels from soniflex Our soni RESIST noise protection panel consists of closed-cell polyethylene foam with both sound-insulating and sound-absorbing properties. Its closed-cell structure makes soni RESIST especially suitable for applications where it may come into contact with moisture or humidity. The extremely robust and impact-resistant sound-insulation material does not constitute a medium for microorganism growth and can be wet-cleaned if necessary. soni RESIST is flame-retardant according to DIN 4102, as proven under B1 test conditions. Therefore the product is an excellent noise-control solution wherever you need to reduce the sound level with materials that meet strict fire safety regulations. The use of soni RESIST The optional self-adhesive rear face facilitates the installation of the panels. When mounted overhead or on uneven surfaces, (additional) mechanical fixation is required.
